Dear Current and Future Madrichim,
Shalom! All of us at TBS are so excited that you’ve chosen to be a madricha/madrich for the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you for spending your Sunday mornings assisting our teachers and being mentors and role models to our younger students! You are an invaluable part of our religious school community.
We are looking forward to continuing and building on the successful changes to our program last year, and continuing to innovate for a new and different year. Religious school will start virtually at least through October; please see our full guidelines
here.
We are thrilled to welcome back Hannah Rossio as madrichim coordinator! Hannah helped take the program to new heights two years ago and we're so excited to have her leading the madrichim program and Mitzvah Corps once again.
A few reminders as you fill out the application:
Pay Tiers: $9/hour for madrichim in Hebrew classrooms; $8.77/hour for madrichim in all other classrooms and Mitzvah Corps. Mitzvah Corps was incredibly popular as an "outside the classroom" option with lots of creative leadership roles throughout the year. Mitzvah Corps will be led and coordinated by Maya Rossio this year. Please select "Mitzvah Corps" if you'd like to join the fun this year and if you have any questions about it please reach out to Hannah or Maya!
8th-10th graders: choose one tier for first session, as you have Judaics second session.
11th and 12th graders: a “Hebrew madrichim” selection means you will be in a Hebrew class first session, and a Judaics class second session.
We are currently planning engaging and fun learning opportunities for 9th-12th graders - please stay tuned!
Please fill out the form below to express your interest in joining/returning to the Madrichim Program! The application is due Thursday, September 3rd at 5pm.
Please mark your calendars for a virtual Madrichim Orientation on Sunday, September 6th from 1-3pm! We will send more information as well as a Zoom link to all madrichim who fill out the application.
Thank you and we are so excited for a different and wonderful year!!
L’Shalom,
